There are many semiconductor opportunities for students that provide hands-on experience, but the best way to learn is through internships. At an internship, you’ll get to spend your days receiving some hands-on experience and getting a taste of the semiconductor field. These can last several weeks to months, allowing you to fully integrate yourself into the semiconductor work life experience. You can also speak to your advisor or school counselor to see what opportunities are available in your town.

Being a mathematics pro is not a requirement to find a successful job in the semiconductor industry. There’s a variety of career pathways for you to choose from, some requiring a certain level of math proficiency and others that don’t require math at all!
